Kulturní večer: Peru

Ve středu 17. dubna se od 17:00 podíváme do Peru na dalším kulturním večeru. Čeká vás povídání o kulturní rozmanitosti země, Incích, Machu Picchu, jedinečné kuchyni a mnoho dalšího!
Večerem Vás provede Maricielo – nadšená studentka lidských práv na Newyorské univerzitě, která vás seznámí se zajímavostmi, životním stylem a kulturou Peru.
Maricielo vám i mimo jiné představí i Callao – dříve známé jako chudý distrikt Limy. Dnes je to však živé a atraktivní centrum komunitního života, kultury a současného umění, kde kreativní aktivity místních překonávají chudobu a zločin.
Přijďte poznat rozmanitost Peru!
Setkání bude probíhat v angličtině.

Cultural evening: Peru
Join us at our next cultural evening in the Centre for democratic education on Wednesday 17. 4. from 17:00. This time the focus is on Peruvian ethnic and social diversity, the ancient Incas, the fabulous Machu Picchu, unique culinary culture and much more is awaiting you!
The evening will be led by Maricielo, a New York University human rights and law student, who will give you insider tips on the lifestyle and culture of Peru.
Among other things, Maricielo can´t wait to tell you about Callao – formerly known as a dangerous and poor district of Lima. Nowadays, after a unique community effort, art and culture overcomes violence and crime, and it creates a vibrant and creative urban space.
Come and get to know contemporary Peru!
